Position in Semi Final draw: 6 Position in Final draw: 11
What I said prior to the Semi Final: "Sopho Khalvashi will perform Georgia's entry in Helsinki, having given Georgian televoters five possible songs to choose from. The winning song, 'My story' (renamed for Eurovision as 'Visionary dream'), gained more votes than the other four contenders put together - picking up 51% of the televote - and I think it was definitely the right choice. All five tracks were of superb quality, and remarkable in their diversity of styles; however, 'Visionary dream' is something quite special indeed. Imagine Madonna's 'Ray of light' mashed up with something by Kate Bush and given a Georgian twist, and you begin to get a sense of the song's brilliance. It's dramatic, soaring, joyous, poignant, and deserves a place in the Final."
My prediction for Semi Final: 9th to 11th My prediction for Final: Likely qualifier; 12th to 14th What I predicted prior to the Semi Final: "No country has ever won Eurovision at the first attempt, but with a killer performance I would wager that Georgia might come close - an entry that could do better than the polls suggest."
