Position in Semi Final draw: 12 Position in Final draw: Failed to qualify
What I said prior to the Semi Final: "The Danish final took place on 10 February, with drag queen DQ emerging victorious with 'Drama queen'. The song's great - yes it's camp, yes it's cheesy, but it's catchy and anthemic to the extent that even my Eurovision-phobe other half has been singing along to it. That HAS to be a good sign."
My prediction for Semi Final: 11th to 13th My prediction for Final: Possible qualifier What I predicted prior to the Semi Final: "This is a close call, and I have kept shuffling DQ in and out of my predicted top ten. I like this song very much, but I do wonder whether the drag queen thing enhances or takes away from what would be, in any case, a schlagertastic Eurovision entry. Some people have suggested that, in (inevitable) comparison to the Ukrainian entry, the Danish performance lacks humour and warmth, and I have some respect for that view. Fortunately, DQ does not have to worry about comparisons with Verka Serduchka in the Semi Final, but will most likely want to avoid being drawn in that 17th position if he gets through to Saturday's show. The Danes are certainly in with a chance of qualification, but my hunch is that they may just fall short of a top ten Semi Final placing." Want an alternative prediction?
