What I said prior to the Semi Final:
"Evridiki, who previously represented Cyprus at Eurovision in 1992 and 1994, has been internally selected as the country's 2007 representative. Evridiki's song is called 'Comme ci comme ça', and has been composed by her fiancé, Dimitris Korgialas. Performed entirely in French - for whatever reason - 'Comme ci comme ça' is very good - a dramatic dance anthem performed with rasping gusto by the seemingly ageless Evridiki."

What I predicted prior to the Semi Final:
"Modern and memorable, a strong live performance could see this one doing rather well, and certainly it's about time Cyprus scored its first Eurovision victory. Performingly very strongly in the fan polls, there's always a risk of this song being a victim of hype over substance - is this really a song that will appeal from Reykjavik to Yerevan? I'm not sure, to be honest... but I'm going to put my faith in Evridiki qualifying for the Final, while in the end falling short of winning the Contest."

In the run up to the Contest, 1,274 visitors to this site awarded points to their favourite songs in the Soult.com Eurovision Jury Vote 2007, voting as a representative of their own country's 'jury'. The votes awarded by representatives of each country were totalled, with each of the 42 participating countries (plus the 'Rest of the World') then awarding points - 12, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 - based on the overall voting preference of its representatives.
