Position in Semi Final draw: 13 Position in Final draw: Failed to qualify
What I said prior to the Semi Final: "After a closely fought Croatian final, the country will be represented in Helsinki by the band Dragonfly and grizzled rocker Dado Topić, performing 'Vjerujem u ljubav' ('I believe in love'). The song's ok... other than that I'm not sure what I can say really. From my perspective, this entry is as far away from Doris Dragović as you can get, which is a drawback if you're a fan of big Croatian divas. Honestly, though, the song leaves me completely unmoved - I can't hum it, I can't remember it, and I can't for the life of me see how televoters will pick up the phone for this ahead of 27 other contenders. It's pleasant, but just plain dull."
My prediction for Semi Final: 22nd to 24th My prediction for Final: Will not qualify What I predicted prior to the Semi Final: "Barely registering in the polls, I will be surprised indeed if the Croatian entry picks up more than a few votes from its neighbours."
