What I said prior to the Semi Final: "Armenia will be represented by Hayko in Helsinki, performing 'Anytime you need'. Hayko's co-composer, Karen Kavaleryan, has achieved the quite unusual feat of having two songs in the one Contest, having also written the lyrics for Dmitry Koldun's 'Work your magic'. Unfortunately for Armenia, I can't help feeling that the Belarussian song is more likely to bring Kavaleryan success. 'Anytime you need' is perfectly pleasant - it's a heartfelt east European ballad of the kind that Croatia and Macedonia like to send to Eurovision from time to time - but it lacks the energy or visual interest of Armenia's first entry."
My prediction for Semi Final: N/A My prediction for Final: 16th to 18th What I predicted prior to the Semi Final: "The bookmakers and Soult.com Eurovision Jury Voters suggest that Armenia will finish near the bottom of the Final scoreboard, and this really is one of those songs that would be hard to envisage in the Final if it wasn't for the fact it was already there. However, 'Anytime you need' has a great draw (23rd out of 24), and will surely pick up some votes of encouragement from Armenia's neighbours and diaspora - this, I predict, will give it a higher, mid-table placing than the polls and betting suggest, while never challenging for a top ten finish."
